Oatmeal Banana Bites

Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup chopped dates or 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- dash of cinnamon
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet or a mini-muffin pan.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
- Stir in oats, dates or chocolate chips, applesauce, vanilla and cinnamon.
- Mix well, and allow to sit for 15 minutes. These do not rise or spread, so if you may want to flatten if you want them to be cookies.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly brown.
