Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone!

I really look forward to a Christmas Eve when Jon doesn't have to work... That has never happened since we've been together... Though it was pretty great to see him on stage dressed up as an elf! I went to the first of FOUR Christmas Eve Services at church today... What will happen when Christmas is on a Sunday? Christmas Eve on the Saturday and church on the Sunday and no break for my hubby?

Well no adoption news as of yet. I had an emotional moment at church when I was leaving and realized I was surrounded by families, many with babies. (Maybe I need to stop sitting at the back of the "dance pad" where I can see all of that). We were really hoping for our own little Christmas miracle. How cliche is that? The CAS office is closed down now and many workers are busy and away and on holidays until after the new year. So we are looking at January the 4th for offices to be back open and up in action again. We hope for some more movement in January. Maybe by Valentines Day :D

Though this feels like forever - I am extremely excited for my Floral Design Course that I am taking at the Canadian Institute of Floral Design. That will give me something else to think about for a little bit and keep my mind of the lack of baby in my life! Teehee. The program is three intensive weeks of classes (the last 3 weeks of January) and lots of practical and hands on work that will make me a certified florist - or something like that. I also get to go to the Toronto flower auction and to a few wholesalers. CIFD It is the best training in Canada and a world renown program with a satellite school in Dubai. I can't wait. I have a few up coming weddings in 2010 and I am in the midst of booking more. I'm also looking for some corporate events, though many are looking for centre piece donations, which at this point in my new career I am not able to do.

So that's the updates I have for now. I have the house to myself for a few hours.... Time to tidy, clean, cook and of course watch a few episodes of Arrested Development - SO FUNNY!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Everyone!
