Well, our home study is done, our adoption profile is done, our training is done. Our report is being completed and will be submitted next week. Then that's it. We are done all the paper work. We just have to wait... Patiently... Or maybe impatiently is a little bit more accurate for me. With our practitioner, we have decided to submit it to a few CAS Agencies. Hamilton, Waterloo, York, Peel & Toronto. We feel that submitting to a few different places will give us the chance to get a child more quickly and that fits our family profile.
We are excited for our little one to arrive and we are really enjoying the process of getting the nursery ready. There are so many things that we can't yet buy until we know the age of the little one. But it doesn't stop us from planning and getting as many things as possible ready!

I just wanted to tell you to keep hope. We adopted our two daughters through foster care in the states and it has been a delightful process. Waiting was the hardest thing. I was always convinced that, that day would be the day I would get the phone call. The first month was really hard. We got the call for our daughter after 3 months of waiting and after hanging up I fell on the floor and cried! Good luck and keep praying. God is with you in this journey!
Tres cool! You are being showered with prayer - as is your little one!!
