Adoption Support

We joined an adoption Support Group that meets once a month. We had a meeting this evening and it was beneficial to hear other peoples stories and where they are at and all that kind of thing. It was informative though it doesn't make me any less impatient.

We are starting to get more things ready for our little one. We have purchased a stroller (well almost - we are getting a used one and it's all arranged - Peg Perego Uno) and we have had to purchase a crib as the one we had received has actually been recalled. We will be getting that in the next couple of weeks too.... Car seat is the next big one. We have decided which one we want - a 3-in-1 (Sunshine Kids Radiant XT) so it suits well for a newborn all the way up until a 8 year old... though we won't need that as the oldest our child will be is 2. ANYWAYS, it is our next big purchase and then we are set for the major things... Though a high chair is still on the list. It's hard to prepare when we don't know the age. We have been told that if we end up with a two year old it would be so unnecessary to have a high chair but at the same time we need to be prepared for a baby too! SO DIFFICULT!

We have no other updates or news, just that we are preparing for the ARE and going to be ready to give out our profiles.

Thanks for reading and being interested in our life and the life of our little one, wherever he is!
